We begin our marriages and romantic relationships on a foundation of love and respect.
The stress of everyday life can begin to create cracks in this foundation and we begin to feel alone, frustrated and unable to communicate. The two of you are living different lives under the same roof and when you do spend time together all you do is fight, maybe you’ve even thought about throwing in the towel. You have been living this way for so many years you can’t even remember what a happy marriage looks like. Can this get better? Is there hope for the two of you? My answer is… YES!
Helping couples find a road back to each other is a passion of mine. My goal in couples counseling is to create a safe environment to examine what is at the heart of the conflict and what is hindering beneficial change.
Couples seeking change can expect:
- New tools to build better communication
- Restoring loss of trust and respect in the relationship
- Learning to parent or co-parent to reduce family conflict
- Learning to stay calm and respectful when disagreeing
- Affair recovery
